I love video games. Anyone who’s known me for any amount of time has realized this. Since I was little I’ve always wanted to design video games as well. There are several problems with this though. I cannot program. I have tried several times, in many different ways, to teach myself how. I just don’t get it. I’m also not very good at art and things like that.
Thank god for RPG Maker and things like Game Maker that do all that stuff for me. Well, GM doesn’t do art, but RPG Maker does. All I have to do is design the damn thing and bend the engine to my will.
And that’s what I’ve done.
I’m a big fan of creepypasta. I don’t read too much of it, but when I do it’s fairly good and a lot of fun. A friend recently introduced me to one that inspired me to make this game. It called “The Gallery of Henri Beauchamp”. I won’t link to it, but I’m sure you can find it if you look. The game follows it fairly closely, so you could consider it a strategy guide if you needed it.
But the game is extremely short. It’s more a visual novel of sorts, with little free movement and a couple of choices. It’s more about learning how to work the engine and attempt to set an atmosphere. At the very least I hope I accomplished that much. If you download it, let me know what you think. I’d love to hear it.
More than anything, completing this project has inspired me to try and work on some slightly more ambitious projects. Of course art is the biggest hurdle in that case but I might be able to find a way around it. Who knows. @_@

There’s also a page above that will act as a hub for all the other games I make, if there are any more.
